After one year and a half of dialysis Angelica was ready for the most significant operation of her life-her kidney transplant. It was her mother who was the one to donate her kidney. Angelica together with her mom underwent an organ transplant successfully on September 13th 2013 in two fantastic hospitals close to each other: Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always wanted to be an actress and a singer, is still pursuing the dream.
